Sweet Treats

I was standing in line at Marshalls with my daughter, Lauren, and we spotted a bag of gummy eggs.  Lauren says "Look mom, eggs that I will like to eat!"  This silly find gave me a great idea for a teacher's appreciation gift and a small birthday gift for her piano teacher.  I headed over to Michaels to pick up a few of the individual cupcake boxes, then headed home to get baking.   I made a batch of my favorite fall cupcakes, pumpkin cupcakes with maple cream cheese frosting, to assemble these treats.  Each gift got a cheesy saying and a gummy egg topped cupcake.   I thought that they turned out pretty cute.  I just love cheesy and fun gifts, especially when they taste good!
