Fit Features of the Week....Dessert Edition

This week I am featuring a couple of dessert treats to tempt your palate from Fit and Fabulous Fridays.  Most of us have a sweet tooth from time to time and need a healthy "fix" to get us through it.  For me, it can be a square of dark chocolate or some dried fruit that can satisfy my sugar cravings.  When you don't eat sugar, you don't crave it as much and healthier desserts made with natural sugar alternatives taste like a decadent treat.  These two featured recipes fit the bill perfectly, sweet and delicious but healthy too.  The best of both worlds!

Gluten Free Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies from The Best of This Life

This heavenly cookie recipe is made with healthy gluten-free flours, coconut oil and coconut sugar.  A great remake of our favorite classic treat.  Please visit Emily over at The Best of This Life for this recipe.   Her site is full of healthy living inspiration!

How about this Almond Joy Protein Pudding from Sensual Appeal Blog?!  This looks incredible....

Kammie uses egg white protein as a base for the pudding, so it's great for getting in your daily protein requirements.  Stop by Sensual Appeal Blog for this recipe and browse all of Kammie's wonderful clean eating dishes.

I hope that you enjoyed my features for the week.  Hopefully, you'll be motivated to eat healthy and clean knowing that you can have your dessert and eat it, too!  Have a great week and stay inspired!
